After I got to know that the brothers of my great-grandmother emigrated to the USA I tried to find them at ancestry. I did't had much hope for Meyer is a very common name. But I found Gustav for I had the name of his wife and her parents, too, and since then I am in contact with descendants of Gustav's son Heinrich and of his daughter Theresa. Gustav married Nov., 18, 1880 in St. Louis. His wife was Marie Friederike Pohl, born 13.01.1860 in St. Louis, daughter of Henry Pohl and his wife Marie, nee Huhn and sister of his sister in law. They had six children: Heinrich Konrad, born 07.09.1881, married 20.09.1906 Johanna Türkisch Therese Louise, born 16.03.1883, married 02.06.1907 August F. A. Ebert, Farmer in Telegraph Road, St. Louis County, Missouri Helene Wilhelmine, born 04.03.1885, married 17.10.1911 Heinrich F.
